Fun for the whole family: if you say family vacation, you must also say tobogganing, and not only the children like it. Naturally, tobogganing is a winter activity. But not in Zell am See-Kaprun. With us, in addition to numerous winter toboggan runs, there is also an all-season toboggan run - the "Maisi Flitzer" at the valley station of the MK Maiskogelbahn in the center of Kaprun.
EVEN MORE TOBOGGANING FUN IN WINTER
The Kohlschnait mountain inn is located in Bruck a.d. Glocknerstraße. The illuminated toboggan run can be seen from afar. After a leisurely ride up by tractor and a warming stop at the inn, you'll head down into the valley with speed and fun. The longest illuminated toboggan run in the world is located in Bramberg am Wildkogel. There, 14 km of tobogganing action awaits. The Smaragdbahn takes you up to 2,100 m above sea level before the tobogganing fun takes its course down to Bramberg.
In Zell am See you can enjoy tobogganing fun at any time of day. During the day, the little toboggan fans chase over the fast tracks. In the evening they enjoy an adventurous toboggan ride either romantically as a couple, as a large party group or simply as a family, just as you like.
To ensure a safe descent, most toboggan runs are illuminated. Thus, the descent is possible until well into the night. You can get to the start of the fast-paced toboggan run either on foot or with a shuttle bus on site.
